While welcoming the progress made in reducing child mortality and malnutrition, the Committee is concerned that...chronic malnutrition persists, in particular among indigenous and Afro-Colombian children.The Committee draws the State party's attention to its general comment No. 15 (2013) on the right of the child to the enjoyment of the highest attinable standard of health, and recommends that the State party: (g) Review and update the 2008 policy on nutritional security and adopt an action plan to implement it.
